I use a provided wash space, in which the bathing and drying will occur (if outlet is available). My table and supplies are set up somewhere easy to be cleaned, such as a garage.

At the start of my mobile grooms I require a quick consultation about what service you are requesting. This will ensure that I can achieve your desired result. Then, I will need a quick tour to show my work space. After that, you are welcome to do whatever you need while I work.

I have been working with dogs for a very long time. Before I founded Snout & About I worked and volunteered in daycares, boarding, and shelters. Additionally, I have always been exposed to rescue breeds of my own. There is very rarely a breed, or temperament, that I haven’t interacted with. I have researched many breeds extensively to achieve the best results from my care. Every pup is different! While I often know expected temperaments, behaviors, quirks, activity levels, etc. it is also dependent on the individual. However, I approach each dog with kindness and compassion as they all deserve.

I have been pet-sitting for several years! I decided in 2024 to further my education in the animal industry through Animal Behavior College. I am now a certified pet groomer, as well as having achieved a CPR, and first aid certification. The animal industry does not have the same regulations as many other industries, however, I believe it is most important to better my education in order to provide peace of mind to my human clients, and safety for my furry clients.

Due to the low traffic of stand-alone services, I cannot offer nail trims as an individual service. I believe in charging fair amounts for my services, if I want to continue with that standard I cannot offer this service on its own. However, if I am watching your pup for a stay-cation, I offer several add-ons! Nail trims, full service grooms, baths, and touch ups (Face, feet, fanny) can all be added onto a pet-sitting service for discounted prices.
